About Lake Louise & Moraine Lake

The Jewels of the Canadian Rockies

Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are two of the most photographed destinations in the world — glacier-fed waters glowing an impossible turquoise, framed by snow-capped peaks and ancient pine forests. Together they form the postcard image most people picture when they think of the Canadian Rockies.

Our private tour takes you beyond the tour-bus crowds, timing your visit to catch the best light and quietest moments at each lake, while sharing the history, geology, and hidden stories that make this valley so extraordinary.

Private vehicle access is restricted. Visitors reach Moraine Lake by shuttle, transit or an authorized commercial operator. Our private service gives your group a relaxed arrival, time to enjoy the shoreline and guidance toward memorable viewpoints away from the busiest areas whenever conditions allow.

Places to Visit

Section 01 · Moraine Lake

A turquoise jewel beneath the Ten Peaks

Moraine Lake lies in the Valley of the Ten Peaks in Banff National Park. Its remarkable blue-green colour is created by fine glacial rock flour suspended in the water, which reflects sunlight in vivid turquoise tones. The lake became one of Canada's most recognizable landscapes after appearing on the reverse of the Canadian twenty-dollar bill between 1969 and 1979.

Our private service gives your group a relaxed arrival, time to enjoy the shoreline and guidance toward memorable viewpoints away from the busiest areas whenever conditions allow.

Section 02 · Lake Louise

Glacial beauty, history and timeless elegance

Lake Louise is named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria. Framed by Mount Victoria and Victoria Glacier, the lake became an early destination for Canadian Pacific Railway travellers and mountaineers. Today, its turquoise water, historic Fairmont Chateau and iconic red canoes create one of the Canadian Rockies' most celebrated scenes.

Stroll the lakeshore, paddle beneath the glacier, enjoy afternoon tea or begin a classic hike to Lake Agnes and the Beehives. Your private tour allows time to explore at your own pace, with convenient pickup and a comfortable return after your visit.
